The Rolls DB25b has just recently undergone a significant upgrade. It now features an attenuation knob for controlling speaker level signals. The DB25b is a transformer balanced, passive direct box. Like any direct box worth it's audio salt, it features a ground lift switch to help with hum elimination. Padding the input signal provides a way to connect the DB25b to a line level signal, even a speaker level signal and connecting it to a balanced line or Mic input on a mixer. The DB25b has two 1/4 inch inputs which act as paralleled pass-throughs to also send the input signal to any other destinations you may need.
